Lovely Adventure at home:

Dear third graders,
We talked about many components in nature. Now, it is our turn: HUMANS.
You all know that we see, hear, touch, smell, and taste. These "sacred" abilities are the five sensations that God gave us and we own them.
With these five sensations we can discriminate between light and dark (as we see), between loud and low voices (as we hear), between rough and smooth skins (as we touch), between fresh and disgusting smells (as we smell), and finally between sweet and sour tastes (as we taste).
Today we will play a game.
You will be asked to close your eyes with something and tell yourself what you see. Then you open your eyes and tell yourself also what you are seeing.
You listen later to music or open the television. You put the volume on a high degree (45 for example) and you tell yourself what you felt. Then, you change the channel or the track and you put the volume on a low degree (8 for example) and also you tell yourself what you heared.
When you see your mom cooking, go and sit with her in the kitchen. You will smell different odors but you will know each odor corresponds to which food (for example the difference in smell when your mother is making a cake and when she is cutting onions).
Stay in the kitchen until yourmother finishes cooking and eat what she cooked. Then, tell her your opinion about her food and what are the components of what you ate.

N.B: Do not watch this video link until you explore your five senses at home in the adventure that i created for you.
